I went on a pinning rampage a few nights ago, looking for the best patterns the internet has to offer. In my search, I came across Peppermint Magazine’s treasure trove of free patterns. This is the first one I thought I’d try since the peplum is kind of my signature look.
I’m pretty darn happy with the final product!
The only real edit I made to the pattern was swapping the neckline for some bias tape that I made with my bias tape maker.
The fit is nice and loose and works really well with the flowy rayon. Next time I’ll probably opt for the next size down as this is extra flowy, but I still like the way this fits. For reference, this is the Size 10, and I am normally a US XS Petite.
I can’t wait to fill my closet with some more of these. My Grandmom told me last week that she’s giving me her serger since she never uses it (!!!) so I’m thinking about making a knit version once I get to know the machine a bit. How cute would it be in something like this?!
